Dr. Nitul Guha worked in our group as a postdoc for the last year, and recently left to return home to India and start the next stage of his career as a lecturer. We wish Nitul the best of luck with his career going forwards!

Congratulations to Laura for passing her PhD viva! The first virtual viva conducted in our group.
During her PhD, Laura worked on the synthesis of planar chiral ferrocenyl motifs and their applications in asymmetric catalysis and medicinal chemistry. She will be beginning a postdoctoral position in Prof. Stephen Fletcher in Oxford this October. Good luck Laura and well done!

Congrats to Dr. Brendan Roche on completing his PhD viva earlier this year! Thanks to Prof. Vincent Coeffard for coming all the way from France to act as extern for the day. Brendan worked on asymmetric carboxylation reactions and the synthesis of novel oxazoline ligands. Well done Brendan!
